The Alamitos Heights neighborhood is nestled behind Belmont Shore and Belmont Park at the back of Alamitos Bay.  It is a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous streets.  A short walk can get you to the beach or local parks. 

Most of the neighborhood is made up of single family homes surrounded by mature trees and plants.  The Stoney Brook Villas condominium complex runs along Bellflower and Pacific Coast Highway.  

Moart of the homes in Alamitos Heights were ranch style homes, which were constructed in the 1950s and 1960s.  A major trend in this desirable neighborhood was adding on to these existing structures.
